NEW HEADQUARTERS SCHRADER CAMARGO
The Schra der Camargo Project is located in the central mountain range, between valleys and ravines. The project is surrounded by a large savanna forest. The program is contained by an elongated bar into which a central patio-garden is pierced, this is the heart of the project and provides a different experience to the workday. Each space has been designed to be in intimate relationship with the nature.
COMPOSITIVE STRATEGIES
SITE OF THE BUILDING
A) Traditional location: invasive / disconnection with the landscape.
B) Proposed location: permeability / vindication with the landscape.
A
B
NATIVE FOREST
An arboreal wall embraces the project forming an enclosure for the contemplation of the hierarchical landmark: Pionono and the daily recreation of the inhabitant.
The forest is an articulator with the savannah.
COURTYARD AND GARDEN
The courtyard is a transitional space between the exterior and interior of the building that recreates a metaphor of the savannah linking the different landscapes of the environment with the population.
RUNNING WINDOW
The colonnade blends in with the garden, recreating a savanna forest. The continuous window establishes a dialogue between the observer, the immediate and distant landscape simultaneously.
